Have a special event or birthday and not sure what to do? Consider a painting party where all your invitees can paint along with me.   OR I will paint and narrarate a 1-2 hour event for you and your attendees.  They can watch and learn techniques as  I share my life as an artist and interact with the group.  I like to help people make memories, and this is a unique, fun way to do something different.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Walk in the Park.

This course is literally a walk in the park most of the time.  Learn by walking alongside Tom on the trail, to a landmark, or local attraction.   See the world through his eyes.    Bring your own camera if you like and learn tips on taking photography.  Most sessions 1 to 2 hours and usually requires good walking shoes.   Repeat as often as you like.   ($15 each session)

Instruction is available in the following techniques and mediums for ages 14 and up: (Time, place,  class price of instruction based on demand, location, and room rental fees. )

Basic Drawing and Art Concepts

Sketching  (Pencil)

Acrylics*

Traditional Oil*

Wet-on-Wet Oil*

Traditional Watercolor*

Gauche Watercolor*

Charcoal*

Intro-4 (Hands-on Intro to any of the 4 above mediums with an *).   This is a 3-day, 8-hour/day, course.

Intro Drawing Plus 4 (Combines basic drawing concepts and some sketching with the Intro 4 Course).  This is a 4-day, 8-hour/day, course.

Instruction is available in the following techniques and mediums for ages 9 to 16: (Time, place,  class price of instruction based on demand, location, and room rental fees. ) Group size limited to 20  w/4 adult supervisors.  Most courses require 1 session per day over a 3-5 day period. Most sessions 40-60 minutes.

Course:   Starting Artist Mural - Group Huddle and Design;  Sketch;  Color Selections; and Paint (100% participation of individuals within group for entire project)   Acrylic or exterior paint, determined in advance by Tom Hock.  Requires multiple sessions over a 5-day period and may be weather dependent if mural is outside.

Course:    Basic Drawing and Art Concepts

Course:  Intro to 1: Introduction to any ONE of the following:  acrylic, traditional oil,  charcoal

Course:  Intro 3: (Introduction to each acrylic, traditional oil, and charcoal)

Course: Intro Drawing Plus Intro 3: (Combines basic drawing concepts and some sketching with the Intro 3 course)
