Corwin M. Nixon Covered Bridge -Caesar Creek, Ohio
This covered bridge is south of Caesar Creek State Park, Ohio. This was taken in very early Spring in March 2009.
Through my photographer’s eye, I like the setting of this scene.
If this was a straight road with buildings along the hillside, the covered bridge would be “lost” in the scenery. But the curve of the road and the wooded background leads your eye immediately to the bridge. The curving yellow and white road lines add to the experience by pulling you closer.
