U.S. Care Package
I did this painting in 2003 as a tribute to the men and women of the armed services.
You’ll see the box lid has notes greetings to the loved one who is serving. (To see this image bigger, just click on the image and, if needed, click one more time.)
The heart shows the U.S. flag as representation that, as a nation, our hearts are with those who cannot be home.
I sent several packages of U.S. Care Package postcards to the troops in 2006 so they could use the cards to send a quick note home or to family and friends.

Yeah for our service people. What would we do without them. What a nice thing to do by sending them cards so they could write home.
