Safe Harbor Lighthouse
A bright, colorful scene of water and lighthouse. The lone sailor is soon to bank on the beach of this island harbor.
I originally painted “Safe Harbor Lighthouse” in 2006 for a women’s crises center in Dayton Ohio. I was one of the artists invited to attend a festival to raise awareness and funds for the center.
I envisioned a lady in a boat as she sailed to the light house. For her, the island is her “safe harbor.”
