Poppa's Boys (July 2009)
This is another memory with my boys. We took a ride one evening so I could take a photo of a covered bridge near the city of Xenia OH.
This bridge is not often traveled, so there was not any traffic. My boys sat on the hood of the station wagon while I took photos of the bridge from all angles.
When I started doing Gouache watercolors, I could hardly wait to do this painting from this photo using the Gouache medium.

I love this picture. Your use of color is so unique (they just glow) and how you have angled the car – instead of making it straight on, is great. You have captured a unique moment and made it art.
